Glen Scheib

Glen E. Scheib, 65, of Kansas City, MO, passed away at North Kansas City Hospital on Friday, March 16, 2018.  He was born November 19, 1952 in Dodge City, Kansas to the late Oscar and Dorothy (Bosi) Scheib.

He was raised in Bucklin, KS where he met his high school sweetheart and future wife at the age of 15. He graduated with degrees in accounting and business administration from the University of Kansas, where he was a member of the track team and the Beta Sigma Psi Fraternity. He remains an avid and devoted KU Jayhawks fan. Glen raised his family in Kansas City and started his own business, Professional Accounting Services, which he ran successfully for 37 years. He was a man of God with a heart of service. He was a leader to many and his generosity was boundless. He was an elder in his church for 20 years. He was currently a member of C3 Church Kansas City, but supported numerous ministries throughout the years. Glen currently led a bible study of his peers, and he loved to mentor young businessmen. His faith never wavered. His favorite activities included coaching teams for his sons, attending grandkids’ events, watching KU basketball, officiating basketball, golfing, and traveling with his family.

He was the loving husband of 45 years, to Gloria (Pitts) Scheib, dear dad of Andrew (Lindsay) Scheib, Sarah (Jason) Woodard, and Joshua (Morgan) Scheib; cherished Papa of Quentin, Jordan, Cameron, Joey, Lincoln, Gunnar, Ainsley and Riley. Dear brother of Charles (Patty) Scheib; dear friend of Rob and Sylvia Sellard. He was a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6-8 PM at The Rock of KC  Church 12750 N Winan Rd, Kansas City, MO 64163. Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM Friday at the church. Interment will follow at Second Creek Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to C3 Church Kansas City , Liberty Women’s Clinic , Character That Counts Ministry or Called to Greatness Ministry .  Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
