William (Bill) Eugene Thomas, 79, of Kansas City, MO passed away October 12, 2014 at home from leukemia. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday October 22 at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Hwy at Shoal Creek Parkway, with visitation preceding services 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Bill was born March 19, 1935 in Kansas City, KS He married Carolyn (Wegener) Thomas on May 13, 1967. He was a retired draftsman and glass estimator. Bill was an Army veteran of the Vietnam and Korean wars, serving as a flight engineer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, George, Bob, Wesley and his parents. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Thomas, his children, Debbie, Mark (Melinda), Trish, Michael (Gina) Thomas, and 9 grandchildren.
