William Edwards

William Delbert Edwards passed away Jan 31, 2013 at North Kansas City Hospice House. Memorial Service will be 3pm Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Hillside Christian Church. Visitation will be from 2-3pm prior to the service at the Church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to North Kansas City Hospice or Hillside Christian Church.Delbert was born July 20, 1924 in Renick, MO.  He served in the Army Air Corps in WWII, and was a retired railroad engineer of over 40 years. Delbert really enjoyed the stock market and was a self-taught trader. He was passionate about jazz and loved music. Delbert also loved golf, and enjoyed to fly after getting his pilot license. Survivors include his wife Maurine N. Edwards, his children, Andy and wife Chris Gaines and Becky and husband Del Healy, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Nephews Randy and wife Lisa Edwards and Tom and wife Dale Edwards; nieces Carolyn and husband Richard Green and Ginny and husband Steve White.
