Willard Frank Naylor, 81, of Liberty, MO, died November 23, 2019. He was born on June 9, 1938 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Frank E. and Anna E. (Nutsch) Naylor. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and the Army Reserves, was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts, the Optimist Club, and had been a volunteer firefighter. Bill enjoyed working; he retired from Ford after 44 years of service and also helped build things: room additions, a firehouse, and had renovated houses. He was known for being a thoughtful friend who would help anyone in need.
Willard is survived by his children: Willard F. Naylor, Jr., Robert Naylor (wife, Shawn), Mary Lemons (husband, James), Thomas Gillespie, Robert Gillespie (wife, Barbara) and Brian Gillespie (wife, Kathryn); grandchildren: Christopher, Sarah, Jamie, Kayla, Nickolas, Heidi, Michael, Nancy, Jennifer, Samantha, Zachry, and Lauren; several great grandchildren; and two sisters, Waunita Boerger and Carlene Roepke. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Tillie Grover.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 12-1 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will be at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery.
