Willa Blanchard

Willa Jean Blanchard, 85, of Kansas City, MO passed away March 15, 2011. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday March 19th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park funeral home, visitation preceding service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the chapel. Burial at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Antioch Community Church or the Parkinson's Foundation. Jean was born December 3, 1925 in St. Joseph, MO to William Charles Hunt and Norma Edna Hunt. She grew up on the family farm near Union Star, MO. She was a dedicated mother, homemaker, and active member of Antioch Community Church since 1956. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Perry Blanchard. Survivors are one cousin, Nelrose Trump, four children, Karen Cochran, Jennifer Jones and husband Gaylen, Dennis Blanchard and wife Diane, Nancy Willibey and husband Dave, five grandchildren, Jessica and Kyle Willibey, Dustin Blanchard, Natalie Crouch, Bud Johnson, two great grandchildren Abbi Johnson, Ashley Woods, two great great grandchildren, Joslyn and Lexianna.
