Wanda V. Ferrero, 88 of Osage Beach, formerly of Parkville, Missouri passed away at Lakeside Meadows Nursing home in Osage Beach, MO on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was born in Higbee, MO on December 22, 1926 to the late Eugene O. and Mary R. (Holtzclaw) Buckley.
She retired from the Ben Franklin companies, enjoyed playing Yahtzee and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband Robert took many car trips, it was often said that he loved to drive and she loved to ride.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Linda Simms, son-in-law Sheral Simms; granddaughter Julie (Ed) Rife; great-granddaughters Laura, Lindsey and Leah Rife and great-great-granddaughter Emmalin Rife. Brother Lloyd Buckley, Sister Velma Randall and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Keith, Kenneth and Charles Buckley and her sister Ermagene Westfall.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2015 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus 4681 Osage Beach Pkwy # 16, Osage Beach, MO 65065.
