Wanda Dodd

Wanda J. Dodd, 77, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on November 29, 2020 at Liberty Hospital. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 5 from 10-11 am with funeral service beginning at 11am at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street in Kansas City. Masks are required. Burial to follow service at Terrace Park Cemetery.

Wanda was born March 9, 1943 to Robert & Norma Williams in Denver, Colorado.  Following graduation, she worked at the North Kansas City Hospital in the Dietary department. During this time, she met the love of her life in 1964 and was united in marriage to Lloyd Dodd in 1969 in North Kansas City. Later in life she worked and retired from Gladstone Foods.

Wanda loved working on crossword puzzles and attending church at Northland Cathedral prior to her being moved into the nursing home to provide her with the care needed.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her parents Norma and Robert Williams and her Grandson Christopher Vanbuskirk. She is survived by her children Norma Poe, Tim Poe, Doris Dodd, Ellen VanBuskirk and David VanBuskirk. Grandchildren Katrina Poe, Jon Young, Abigail Litster, Tom Litster, and Samuel VanBuskirk. Great Grandchildren Charlotte Rose Litster and Miriam Daisy Litster. Wanda will be missed by many family and friends.
