Virginia Lee Burks

Virginia Lee Burks, passed away on June 24,2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be remembered.

Born on November 5, 1947, Virginia led a life filled with diverse interests and passions. She found joy in gardening, crochet, sewing, crafting, and solving puzzles. Virginia also had a sense of adventure, enjoying water skiing, camping, and hiking in the great outdoors. One of her pleasures was engaging in heartfelt conversations with her daughter whom she is now reunited with in Heaven.

Virginia's commitment to her faith was evident through her membership at the First Baptist Church of Northern Heights, where she found spiritual solace and community support.

She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents: Daniel and Leola Conklin; daughter: Dianne Lee Bassett; and sister: Judy Ann Meyerkorth.

Surviving Virginia is loving husband of 60 years: Robert "Bob" Dale Burks; son: Ken (Lisa) Burks; grandchildren: Alisha (Jake) Vansell, Brandon Bassett, and Dylan Burks; and great grandchild: River Vansell; sister: Lois (Larry) Johnson; son in law: Wayne Bassett; and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
