Virginia Adamson Green

Virginia Lee Adamson Green, 89, of Smithville, MO passed away on Tuesday July 26th, 2016. Virginia was born on June 4th, 1927 to Lucien Lamar McMillian and Nina May Guinn in Smithville, MO. She married James Adamson on June 21st, 1947.Virginia loved and cared for her family dearly. She enjoyed spending most of her time on the water fishing and boating on Smithville Lake. She also was a great cook, and loved to travel thru the Garden of Gods in Colorado. She truly enjoyed spending quality time with her family and grandchildren, attending their sporting events and triumphs.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband’s James D. Adamson and Patrick H. Green, her siblings Leon McMillian, Ruby Woods, Jack McMillian, and Charles McMillian.
Virginia is survived by her two daughters Patsy (Bob) Arnold; Sherri (John) Huhs; her sister Jean Tester and sister in law Darlene McMillian; grandchildren Jeffrey(Amber) Arnold; Jason Arnold; Nathan Hartley; Ryan Hartley; Dylan Hartley; J.D. Huhs and Kotie Huhs. Great-Grandchildren Hannah Orcutt; Chaney Hartley; Willow Arnold; Meadow Arnold; Faith DeJarnett; Bella Huhs; Brett Arnold; and Alli Arnold along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday August 1st, 2016 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery. 801 N.W. 108th St. Kansas City, MO 64155 (816) 734-5500.
