Vicki Whaley

Vicki Jean Whaley was born in Leon, Iowa on September 26, 1959 to John and Mary (Moore) Kish.

She lived in the Kansas City area her whole life. On December 19, 1998, she married Steven Whaley. This marriage brought Vicki three children. Vicki enjoyed working outside and gardening. To her children and their friends, she was known as skate park mom. She loved many kids as her own. Vicki was an active member of the PTA and supported her children in all their extra-curricular activities.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents.

She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her husband, Steve Whaley; children: Travis Whaley, Eric Whaley, and Alyssa Whaley; grandchildren: Charlotte and John Whaley; and siblings: Pamela Joy and Charles James.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 15 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, Missouri with a graveside service following in Terrace Park Cemetery.

The family requests donations to be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
