Vicki Rockford

Vicki passed away Saturday, December 12 in the way she probably would have wanted - comfortable in her robe and pajamas, with little fanfare, and with the least amount of bother possible.  She didn’t even have the courtesy of telling anyone!  You’d have thought as much as she liked to regale others with conversation and chat, she would have at least sent a text or FB message.

Vicki was a very loving person whose favorite hobbies included cards, board games and all manner of crafts.  In her most recent years, she liked to create and send home made greeting cards, and she would even write nice messages in a few!  Vicki loved to make things for others and was always happy to share.  She loved spending time with friends, family, and her TV. She sure did get on famously with that TV!

In all seriousness, Vicki will be greatly missed.  Vicki was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Rockford and her sister, Cindy Dover.  She is survived by her sister Linda Andersen, her sons Matthew Rockford, Mark Rockford, and James Rockford and her grandchildren Kaeden, Addison and Katherine.

Funeral services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home in Kansas City on Friday, December 18 at 2 PM, following a brief visitation from 1 - 2 PM. Please bring your favorite memories of her to share, so that we can celebrate her life.

All standard COVID precautions will be held. Vicki will be the only one without a face mask, but experts tell us the risk is minimal in her case.
