Vera Morris

Vera Lou Morris of Pleasant Valley, MO passed away September 7, 2014. Her visitation will be 6-8pm, Tuesday, September 9th at Terrace Park Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be 11am, Wednesday, September 10th at Terrace Park Funeral Home Chapel. She was one of 15 children born to Atlee and Gladys Stewart.  Vera grew up in Mulberry, KS graduating from Mulberry High School in 1951.  She married Carl E. Morris December 20, 1952.  They made their home in Pleasant Valley, MO raising four children.  She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Vera was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Carl E. Morris, and her son, Mark A. Morris. She is survived by daughter Terri L (Dale) Ledford of Kansas City, MO, son Michael E. (Karen) Morris of Kearney, MO, and daughter, Janna L. (Joe) Denison of Pleasant Valley, MO; grandsons, Brian C.(Nikki) Ledford of Maryland Heights, MO, Barry J. (Hillary) Ledford of Parkville, MO, Justin M. (Melissa) Morris of Affton, MO, Wesley P. Morris of Merriam, KS, Evan W. Morris of Kearney, MO and granddaughters Megan L. Denison of La Crosse, WI, Emily A. Denison of Tulsa, OK, five great-grandchildren, five sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
