Vasthia Creagan

Vasthia Nevia Creagan, 96, Kansas City, MO passed away at North Care Hospice on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Nevia was born to David and Delpha (Casey) Rickard on April 14, 1921, in Denning, AR. After graduating high school, she married Dan Myers. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and playing slots. She also played basketball til she was in her mid-30’s.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her daughter Sharon Ladinsky, and a granddaughter, Sharma Myers.
Nevia is survived by her daughter, Norma (Larry) Holland of Kansas City, MO, and two sons; Jerry Myers of Smithville, MO, and Ronnie (Karen) Myers of Gladstone, MO, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Terrace Park Lakeside Chapel; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
