Vasille M. Felton, 75, of Kansas City, Missouri, died at North Kansas City Hospital on Monday, September 26, 2016; he was born April 25, 1941 in Monroe County, Indiana to the late John R. and Dorothy A. (Pope) Felton.
“Mr. V” as many of his friends called him loved fishing, Blue Grass Music and gardening. He was privileged and proud to assist in raising his grandchildren. He was also the designated auctioneer at family reunions. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for telling the same joke over and over.
He was the loving husband of 44 years to Clara (Schelske) Felton, dear dad of Joseph Felton, Amanda (Patrick) Tierney and Melissa (Scott) Warner, cherished grandfather of Peter, Timothy, Crighton, Zane and Kira. Dear brother of Ruel “Allen”, Julia, Dale, Clarence “Zeke” and Lyril,
In addition to his parents Vasille is preceded in death by his siblings; Nancy, John, Elvira, Sharon, Nora, Brenda and Farrel; and his dog Beana.
A memorial gathering will be Friday, September 30, beginning at 6 PM until time of service at 7 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
