Waleria Sniezko, 95, of Kansas City, MO died at NorthCare Hospice house on Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born November 28, 1919 in Ilia, Poland to the late Matthew Hurnowicz and Sophia Krasowsky.
She was a loving home maker who enjoyed crocheting, flowers, gardening, reading and being with her family. She was married to Nikolas Sniezko for more than 70 years, they had 2 daughters Sophie (Jerome) Brandon and Marnie (Regina Lenter) Sniezko; 2 grandchildren Keith Michael (Rosangela) Brandon and Kathleen (Darin) Schwart; 3 great-grandchildren Ethan Joseph Brandon, Parker Ray Schwart and Ashton Wilson Schwart.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Fr. Timothy Sawchak will officiate. Interment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Icon Fund 11901 Pflumm Rd.
