Thomas M. “Bob” Weaver, 80, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Services will be 11 AM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church 5409 NW 72nd St. Kansas City on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 with visitation preceding the service from 10-11 AM. Interment with military honors at will be at 2 PM at Terrace Park Cemetery Lakeside Chapel.
Thomas was born September 12, 1935 in Columbus, NE, to the late Everett and Oma (Merrill) Weaver. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy; he was a dedicated member of Gloria Dei Lutheran church; he enjoyed camping, canoeing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Norma Weaver; daughter Janet (Kevin) Smith, and son Michael (Kelli) Weaver. Brothers Jim and Bruce Weaver, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his grandson Justin Sweany and his brother Jon Weaver.
