Thomas Franklin Harkrider, age 71, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on March 4, 2017 after a battle with cancer.
Tom was born in Stanberry, Missouri on April 24, 1945, to Leonard and Helen Harkrider. He was married to Georgene Hiatt on April 20, 1974.
Tom was a loving husband, dad and a wonderful grandpa. Tom was an owner operator and loved to travel. He was also an avid fisherman, horseman and attempted golfer.
Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years, Georgene, his daughter Tracy Hulme and husband Rick of Kansas City, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home beginning at 12:30 PM on March 11, 2017 with a service following at 2:00 PM.
