Terry Lee Kilburn

Terry Lee Kilburn, 84, of Kansas City Missouri went home to be with the Lord August 29, 2024. Terry was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion.

Terry and Casandra spent 51 years of marriage together, a true testament of their enduring love and deep affection. He was a devoted family man who balanced his roles and treasured time with his family.

Terry was a proud Navy veteran who served his country with deep commitment and honor. He traveled the world during his time of service and had fond memories of meeting Nat King Cole and George Burns along with other celebrities. He went on to work for TWA as an airplane mechanic and took great pride in his work. Applying his skill and expertise to ensure the safety and reliability to countless flights.

A passionate sports enthusiast Terry found joy in football, baseball, and racing. He enjoyed sharing these interest with his family and friends.

Terry was a lifelong member of Heartland Church of Christ. His life was characterized by his belief and faith in Christ along with the love he poured out for his family. Terry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Terry is preceded by death by his parents Samuel and Helen Kilburn; brother Lyle Kilburn, and granddaughter Jillian Kilburn.

He is survived by his loving wife, Casandra Kilburn; daughter, Kimberly Kilburn; son, Richard Lee Kilburn; granddaughters, Taylor Cline, and Olivia Cline; sister, Janie Williamson; along with many other family members and friends.

Services to honor Terry’s life will be held on September 6, 2024 at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends at 11:00. 

Funeral Service at 12:00.
