Sylvia Sterling

Sylvia May Sterling, 84, of Cameron, MO, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2022. She was born on October 26, 1937 to the late Albert Recor and the late Thelma Deno.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Kidder, MO and the UMW.

Sylvia will be remembered as a woman who loved with all her heart. Her family was her number one priority. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was dependable and a gift to all of those who knew her. She spent time nightly talking with each of her children.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Allen Sterling; brother: Roger Recor; stepson: Roland Sterling; and great grandchildren: Jadyn Paxton and Ethan Hill.

She is survived by her partner: Claude Dailey; daughters: Mary Williams; Cindy (Ron Sidebottom) Sterling; and Tina (Gary) Curtis; son: Mark (Theresa) Sterling; stepdaughter: Linda (Gary) Vestle; stepson: Richard (Laurie) Sterling; grandchildren: Tonisha Williams, Jessica (Rob) Hill, Sara (Paul) Evans, Sylvia (Levi) Hohenfeldt, Joseph (Brittany Biggerstaff) Trusty, Christopher (Katie Anderson) Sandridge, Jeremiah (Amanda) Sandridge, Brian Sandridge, Mark Allen (Kaycee) Sterling Jr., and Adam Sterling; as well as 16 great grandchildren; sisters Beverly Pomeroy (Schnectady, NY), Shirley Quick (Raleigh, NC)
