Sylvia Violet Hufford, 87, of Gladstone, MO passed away January 11, 2016. She was born December 22, 1928 in Roaring River, MO to Clarence and Myrtle Eacret. Sylvia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfred, daughter, Marsha, grandson, Chad, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Those left to cherish Sylvia’s memory include daughters, Judy Hill, Leatha Williams, Mitzy (Bill) Neal, son, Larry Hufford, step-daughters, Judy and Leather, 10 grandchildren one of which was like a daughter to her, Stacy Katzenberger, 24 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and her sister, May Smith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 10:30 AM-12 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM.
