Susan Lee Shawver, 63, passed away peacefully at North Kansas City Hospital on May 28, 2017.
She was born on November 23, 1953, in Smithville, MO to Robert and Helen Wilson Shawver. Susan graduated from North Kansas City High School, attended Northwest Missouri State and St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She spent 35 years working as a Project Service Specialist for ADP.
Susan was an avid sports enthusiast and loved watching the Chiefs and the Royals. She rarely missed a game, oftentimes enjoying the games with her family. She also loved her beloved pets.
Susan is survived by her parents, Robert and Helen; her brother Kirk and his wife, Joanna; two nieces Samantha Rose and Carly Elizabeth; aunt Ethel Zeller of Venice, Florida and aunt and uncle Helen and Jack Long of Branson, MO; many cousins and friends.
Private family services and inurnment was held at Terrace Park Funeral Home, Kansas City North. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wayside Waifs or the KC Pet Project.
