Steven Reid

Steven Reid, 66, of Smithville, MO, passed away on November 13th, 2020. Steve was born December 22nd, 1953 in Mobile, AL. Steve’s passion was music and playing drums in classic rock bands. Over the years, Steve played drums in several local bands, including Mo Packer, Blind McGike, Parkville City Limits, and L.A. Confidential Band. Steve’s other passion was football and the Kansas City Chiefs. He spent several seasons working on the field at the stadium during home games. Steve retired from Flint Ink in 2017, where he had been a shipping manager.
Steve was preceded in death by parents Joyce and Carl Reid, brother David Reid, and son Rick Catalano. Steve is survived by domestic partner, Leigh Ann Reed, daughters, Lacie and Shaeleigh Reid, grandsons, Blake and Beckham Lindeman, brother, Brian Reid and family, sister-in-law, Nancy Reid and family.
