Steven Leontos

Steven "Steve" Eugene Leontos, of Kansas City, MO, passed away November 3, 2013. He died after a courageous battle with cancer.  Steve was born December 12, 1950 in St. Joseph, MO to Chris & Charlotte Leontos. He graduated from St. Joseph Central High School in 1969 and later graduated from MWSC.  Steve served proudly in The United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  Steve retired from the United States Postal Service of Labor Relations after 30 years of service. Steve & Valerie Leontos lived a true Love Story marriage and just celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary.  Steve & Valerie loved to travel. He also enjoyed creating beautiful jewelry and reading. They had several pets over the years that were like their children. He was preceded in death by his parents Chris & Charlotte Leontos. Survivors include his beloved wife Valerie Leontos. Brother Chris Leontos and wife Pat Leontos. Nephews Brad, Craig & Pierce Leontos. His 4 step children Adrian Stalder, Michelle Marshall, Janine Stalder, Lorraine Arbuckle. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Steve's Birthday Dec 12th 2013 at Pleasant Valley Church in Liberty Mo. From 6pm thru 9pm.
