Steven Hargrave

Steven Leroy Hargrave, 61, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Steve was a beloved husband, father, Papa, son, brother and a man of his faith.

Steve was born in Kansas City, MO, on July 1, 1958, the son of Leroy and Mary (Crist) Hargrave. He married the love of his life, Jana (Smith) Hargrave, on June 10, 1978 and they share 41 years together. Steve is survived by his faithful wife, Jana Hargrave; his three children: Amanda Miller (Jeff), Brian Hargrave (Rachael), Laura Brewer (Te-Jay); his 8 grandchildren: Ethan, Mason, Gavin, Trace, Jaxon, Titus, Gwendalynn and Graham; his father, Leroy Hargrave; his two sisters, Linda Johnson (John) and Cindy Williams (Bill); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Crist) Hargrave, father-in-law, Clyde Smith, brother-in-law, Greg Glasgow, and sister-in-law, Donetta Smith.

The family is eternally thankful for all the amazing doctors and nurses at Barnes Jewish Memorial Hospital and Dr. Justin Raines at Pulmonary Medicine Associates.

A public memorial service for Steve will be held at a later date.
