Sharon Kay Robinson, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Thursday morning, September 6, 2012 at the age of 56. Sharon was born on September 27, 1955 in Independence, MO to Robert and Doris Staley. Sharon graduated from Brookfield High School in in 1974. Sharon graduated from the Research Medical Center, School of Nursing in 1977 and went on to have a distinguished career as a Registered Nurse at North Kansas City Hospital. Sharon's passion for life was unparalleled and the love and joy she shared with everyone that knew her will not soon be forgotten. She will be greatly missed. If she were with us today Sharon would say her greatest accomplishment is her three grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael Robinson, her mother Doris Staley, brother David Staley and wife Karina, sister Connie Piggott and Tim Bailey, sister Kim Smith and husband Kevin, son Dustin Robinson and wife Sarah, daughter Amanda Robinson, granddaughter Abigail Robinson, granddaughter Lily Hurt, grandson Andrew Robinson, and many nieces and nephews. Sharon is preceded in death by her father Robert Staley.Memorial services are 2:30 pm Thursday September 13th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, with visitation preceding services 1:00 - 2:30 pm. Inurnment in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.
