Sharon Rose Martin

Sharon Rose Martin, 78, of Kansas City, MO, gained her Heavenly wings on August 7, 2023.

She was born to parents Harold Robert McGuire and Geneva Lucille Yeager, on June 25, 1945, in Gatesville, Texas. She met the love of her life, Kenneth Martin, on a blind date and from that moment they were inseparable. They were married on July 1, 1967, in Grandview, Missouri and were blessed with raising four children.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her husband, family, friends and her fur babies. Sharon also enjoyed working in her flower garden, attending bible study at her local church, camping with her family, shopping and dancing.          

Sharon will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Kenneth Martin; Daughters, Pamela Noel, Deborah (husband, Jeff) Shafer and Susan Hartman; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and fur baby, Rosie. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Kenneth Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be officiated by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 12pm-1pm, followed by the graveside service at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri.
