Sharon Knott

Sharon Beatrice Knott, 75, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on June 4, 2022.

Sharon was born on March 10, 1947 in Carrollton, Missouri.

She married her childhood sweetheart, Larry E. Knott on December 14, 1968, and the two moved from Carrollton to the Kansas City area where they raised their family. Sharon held various jobs, including her role as packaging supervisor which she did for twelve years, but her most important job was caring for her family. After she retired in 2001, she continued caring for her home and could often be found cooking, solving crossword puzzles and watching her favorite shows -Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, and Family Feud.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Dan Beck and Betty Lee Dady; brother, Jimmy Beck; and sister, Debbie Austin. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of 54 years, Larry Knott; children, Mark (Stephanie) Wellman, Pamela (Pete) Castilleja, and Larry D. Knott; grandchildren, Logan Dayne Looney and Brandi Nicole Wellman; sister, Nancy Young of Independence, MO; brothers, Sam (Marianne) Beck of Eagle, Idaho and Roger (Jessica) Dady of Bosworth, Missouri; and many extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery on June 9, 2022. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm, followed by a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
