Sharon Christie

Sharon Christie, 73, of Kansas City, MO passed away on January 6, 2020.

Sharon was born on January 26, 1946 in Long Beach, CA.  She and her former husband moved to the Kansas City area where she remained and raised her family. She spent many years working for Farmland Industries. Sharon loved Elvis Presley and enjoyed her trip to Graceland and traveling, but the most important thing in her life was spending as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren. Sharon is preceded in death by her mother, Nadine Christie;  sisters, Nelda Scroggins and Phyllis Austin; brother, Art Havens and her beloved dog, Tori. She will be remembered and greatly missed by her children, Jon Scott, Brenda Shaw, and Tina Harmon; grandchildren, Stephani Sitherwood, Justin Scott, Miranda DeLisio, Robi Boland, CJ Boland, and Jarrett Scott; great grandchildren, Frankee, Jaeger, Colton, Easton, Zoey, Carson, and Baby George; her Baby sister, Deann Pressley; former husband, Bob Pugh and his siblings that became her family, Phyllis, Peggy, Donald Lee, Eddie, Chuck, Dale, Carolyn, Barbara, Debbie, Teresa, Janet.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Friday, January 10th from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Flowers or if you would rather, contributions may be made to NIH/Osteoporosis and Related Bone Diseases National Resource Center, 2 AMS Circle Bethesda, MD 20892-3676 USA.
