Scott VanArsdale

Scott Lon VanArsdale, 56, of Smithville, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2021.  Services are pending at this time and will be announced at a future date.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

Scott was born on December 9, 1964 in St. Joseph, Mo, to David and Patricia (Morgan) VanArsdale.  He grew up in Smithville and was a graduate of Smithville High School.  Scott worked with his father in the metal fabrication business and delivered portable band saws all over the United States.  When he was not working, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, David Lee VanArsdale and is survived by his mother, Patricia “Pat” VanArsdale and a brother, Shaun Lee VanArsdale.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
