Sarah Jones Sheehan

Sarah Jones Sheehan, passed away on June 29th, 2023 in Smithville, Missouri. She was born on November 8th, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa. Her parents are Bob Jones and Karen Jones. Sarah brought immense joy and laughter to the lives of those around her.

Sarah was cherished for her vibrant personality and zest for life. She had a heart full of love and warmth, making her the best mom anyone could ask for and the life of every party she attended. Her love for her husband, Dan Sheehan, and their children, Jake and Abi Sheehan, knew no bounds. Their happiness was always at the forefront of Sarah's life.

In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Sarah found interest in gardening.

Sarah wasn't just known for her green thumb but also for her unwavering love being surrounded by friends and family. She loved gathering with friends over a cold beer. The laughter shared during those get-togethers created memories that will forever be cherished.

She was preceded in death by her father Bob Jones and brother Matthew Lee Jones.

Sarah is survived by a large network of loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She married her husband, Dan Sheehan, on May 28, 1995. He was not only the love of Sarah's life but also her rock of support.  Jake Sheehan and Abi Sheehan were blessed with a mother who poured endless amounts of love into their lives.

Remembering Sarah with fondness are her mother: Karen Jones; loving husband: Dan Sheehan; children: Jake and Abi Sheehan; siblings: Martha (Ronnie) Wiedman, Chris (Tammy) Wheeldon, Rhonda (Jeff) Wheeldon, Liz (Rod) Zabel, and David (Pauline) Jones. Her nieces: Niki (Tim) McDonough, Maggie Esser, and nephew: Joey Esser. Not to forget her grand-dog Leo, who brought pure joy to her life.

Sarah Jones Sheehan leaves a lasting legacy of love and laughter. The impact she had on the lives of all who knew her will continue to be felt for generations to come. Her vibrant spirit will forever shine bright in our hearts.
