Sandra Lee Straight, passed away on March 29, 2021 at the age of 71, surrounded by her friends and family after a long fight with cancer.

Sandra was born on August 13, 1949 in Independence, MO to Harold and Dorothy Titus. Sandy was adopted by her stepfather, Leonard Hartman in 1954. She grew up in Independence, MO where she attended Truman High School and graduated in 1967. She went on to receive an accounting certificate from UMKC in 1971. Sandy lived all of her adult life in the Kansas City North area.

Sandy was married to her best friend, Phillip Dean Straight for over 43 years. They laughed together, traveled together and raised two incredible human beings together. He passed away on October 30th, 2014.

Sandy was employed at Burstein Appleby for 7 years as their accounting manager. She then was employed at Linde Thompspn Law firm for 8 years as their accounting manager. She received her real estate license in 1984 and was a very well known real estate agent in the Northland for 36 years. Sandy enjoyed her friends and loved to play a good hand of cards at the casino where she didn't know a stranger. The memories of family vacations was the highlight of her life. Sandy's favorite saying during her illness was,  "I'm not doing that." We all had a good laugh with her about that.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Jeffrey Straight of Trussville, AL and Mitchell (Tammy) Straight of Kansas City, MO. She had three grandchildren she cherished and couldn't be prouder of; two granddaughters, Riley and Ryan; a grandson, Ethan and two dogs - Hank and Zeke.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Leonard; husband, Phillip Straight and brother, Donnie Hartman, who died in the Vietnam War.
