SALVATORE A CASTELLUCCIO
Sal Castelluccio, 71, of Kansas City, MO passed away Feb. 2, 2016. He was born May 31, 1944 in Kansas City, MO to Angelo and Lilly (Lombardo) Castelluccio.
Dad was a kind, gentle soul. Sandy Castelluccio-Bennett had always been the love of his life. No one came before her. “How long have we been married?” was a question often asked by Dad. For years, we’ve prided ourselves that Dad has overcame multiple illnesses because of the love and care we gave him.
He made us laugh and cry all within the same period of time. Dad was one of the good guys. His son, Sal Castelluccio and Brandy Castelluccio are expecting their first child that will be named after Dad, Angelo Joseph. His oldest daughter Chris Castelluccio and Mike Laytham had also took pride in caring for Dad. Daughter, Jenny Norris and Paul Norris made lasting memories with Dad. Jenny always prayed for a little boy named Sal. Dad leaves behind several grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Whitney, Sal and Rosalie Norris, Hannah, Angie and Jordan Laytham and Tristen and Bella Carpenter. He also leaves a loving sister, Pauline and Rick Ellis and nephew, Rick and Staci Ellis.
Thank you friends and family for all the love and support over the years. We also thank Allen Bennett for opening his heart to Dad over the years. We always have appreciated your kindness and generosity. We know our Dad did too.
