Sadie Elizabeth Miller, daughter of Elizabeth “Jen” Miller Tinner and the late Steven Frank Miller, was born on April 27, 1987 in Belleville, Illinois and departed this life on September 1, 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 31 years, 4 months and 4 days of age.

Sadie was known by many nicknames such as, Sadie Girl, SadieBae, Deed-Bo-Deed, Dee and Sis.  She was devoted to her family and her children. She was very active with the Gashland Presbyterian Church, P.T.A and was a participant and volunteer with the American Heart Association. She loved watching her sons play sports, watching the Kansas City Royals, tailgating at the Kansas City Chiefs Games and she loved Justin Timberlake. She had an infectious smile and beautiful brown eyes. While she was able, she had a very strong work ethic. Once she was no longer able to work she loved to watch Netflix and chill.

Sadie was preceded in death by her father; her paternal Grandmother, Jean Louise Miller; and her maternal Grandfather, William Alexander Wilkinson Sr. She is survived by her husband, Kyle Smith and their children, Owen Miller and Crawford Smith; her mother, Elizabeth “Jen” & husband Rodney Tinner; her two brothers, Jacob Miller, Wife Nicole, and their children, Irelynn Miller & Bennett Miller; and Zachary Tinner; one sister, Caroline Miller and her children Rudy Sese and Steven Sese; maternal grandmother, Carol Wilkinson; paternal Grandfather, Fred Miller; and her parents-in-law, Debra & Doug Smith. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and family who will all truly miss her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Gashland Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gashland Presbyterian Church with Pastor Ritchie Cable officiating. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Sadie Miller Memorial Fund or the American Hearth Association.

*The Sadie Miller Memorial Fund will soon be transferred to a Trust Fund for Owen & Crawford.
