Ruth Kellogg

Ruth Kellogg, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away on December 11, 2019.

Zola Ruth Kellogg was born on September 21, 1929 in St. Joseph, MO to Oscar and Sarah George. She graduated from high school in Agency, MO and worked for many years as a waitress and banquet server at the Hilton and Hyatt hotels in the Kansas City area. Ruth always loved flowers and enjoyed tending to her many plants, but most important in her life was caring for her family and friends. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Dean Kellogg; son, Gary Dean Kellogg; and siblings, Harry, John, Frank and Vernon George, and Mary Curns. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter, Vickie Kellogg; brother, Herb George, close friends, Randy Stewart and Dawn Caskey; grandchildren, Shane Reeds, Shawn Caskey, Alexis Reeds, Juliana Perez, Macie, Cameron and Katlynn Caskey; beloved dog, Buddy and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery on Monday, December 16th at 11:00am, with visitation beginning at 10:00am and burial to follow.
