Ruth Ebbert

Ruth Ebbert, 84, of Kansas City, MO; died Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Riverstone Retirement Community. She was born November 24, 1934, in Quanah, Texas to the late Sam H. and Roxie F. (Booher) Sorensen.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Karen Ebbert and Curtis (Mary) Ebbert; grandchildren Geoffrey Carpenter and Ashley (Sean) Iles and great-grandchildren; Pierce and Cali Iles.

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband John, who passed away in 2013; and her daughter Kathy Carpenter.

A celebration of life will be held from 6-8 PM at Riverstone Retirement Community on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. The family strongly suggests memorial contributions to Interim Hospice (10977 Granada Lane Suite 205 Overland Park, KS 66211)in lieu of flowers.
