RUBY IMOGENE STARCHMAN
Ruby Imogene Starchman went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 9, 2015, after a short illness.
For the past year and a half, Mrs. Starchman was a resident of Joplin, Mo. Formerly, she was a longtime resident of Liberty, Mo., in the Village of Glenaire.
Imogene was born in Joplin, Mo. on February 23, 1925, to Charles Arnold Page and Lora Veta (Drake) Page. She married Ray Victor Starchman on December 25th, 1946. She is survived by her son, Michael Ray Starchman of Kansas City, Mo. and her sister Dorothea Lee Rickey of West Plains, Mo.
Imogene had a home based business, machine quilting, and had been a seamstress since the age of sixteen. She also worked at Nelly Don as well as other garment factories of Kansas City. She and her husband, Ray, enjoyed gardening, fishing and family gatherings. She was one of twelve siblings.
Services and interment will be Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo. Rev. Harold Dinsmore, will officiate. Please leave condolences at Terraceparkfuneral.com.
