Roy Park

Roy “Jerry” Park, 76, of KCMO passed away peacefully June 14, 2014 at home with his loved ones by his side. His funeral service will be 1:30pm, Friday, June 20th at Terrace Park Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow the service at Terrace Park Cemetery. Flowers are appreciated and for those wishing to make a contribution, the family request they be made to Crossroads Hospice, 2900 NE 60th St. Gladstone, MO 64119. Jerry was born September 26, 1937 in Palo Alto, CA. He served aboard the USS Lexington as their Avionics Specialist in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1961. He then married the love of his life, Dorothy Davidson, on February 2, 1962. He worked for AT&T as their operations manager and retired in 1998 after 37 years of dedicated service. After retirement, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and traveling. His biggest love was spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Maxine Bowland. He is survived by his wife of the home, Dorothy; son, Derek (Sherri) Hailey and Hayden Park; daughter, Carla (Jeff) Brock, Maddie, and Kylie Niemeier; sister, Beverly Auten and many other family members.
