Rosalie Maye Minor, a cherished member of the Kansas City community, passed away on March 30th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication. Rosalie was born on October 3, 1938 in Lenexa, Kansas to parents, Walter and Helen Powell. After high school, she continued her education for a short time and spent a number of years living in Massachusetts before returning back to her roots in the Kansas City area.

In her professional life, Rosalie made a significant impact through her work at the EPA, where she tirelessly advocated for environmental conservation and sustainability. Beyond her career, she devoted herself to her faith and community, actively participating in her church and her beloved sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. Rosalie's commitment to philanthropy touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark of compassion and generosity. In her spare time she enjoyed watching and attending sporting events in which her unwavering passion and enthusiasm for KC Royals baseball, Sporting KC soccer, and the Kansas City Chiefs, brought joy to those around her.
