RONNIE E. HUNTER
Ronnie E. Hunter, 79, of Roscoe, Texas passed away Sept. 13, 2016. He was born October 25, 1936 to Vernon M. and Jessie Viola (Meres) Hunter.
He was an airman first class in the USAF and served in the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he spent his career as an over the road truck driver; finishing his career with yellow freight where he became a member of the 2-million-mile safe driving club.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill; a son, Chad and a stepson, Rick.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Bryan; daughter-in-law, Trish; daughter, Teresa; sister, Glenda; 6 grandchildren; a great-grandchild and other extended family.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 from 10-11 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Chapel, 801 NW 108th St. KCMO. Services will follow at 11 AM at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Online condolences may be left at terraceparkfh.com.
