Ronald Wise

Ronald Francis Wise, 77, of Kansas City, MO, passed away at St Luke’s North on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Ron was born to Forrest and Bernice (Henry) Wise on April 30, 1940, in rural Cass, Co., MO. He attended High School at North East High School, and joined the Air Force shortly after high school. On April 13, 1974, he married Kathy Cheadle. The couple enjoyed grocery shopping and poker night together. He retired from Modine Manufacturing  in 2002. In his free time Ron loved to bowl, watching old westerns, jigsaw puzzles, and taking road trips to nowhere.  Ron will always be remembered as a simple man that loved his family and was always there for them.

He is preceded in death by both parents, a brother Dale, and a daughter Mary.

Ron is survived by his wife of 44 years, sons: Michael (Jan) Wise of Seattle, WA, Scott (Sarah) Wise of Montana, Dennis (Sun) Grey of Kansas City, MO, and Jason Wise of Kansas City, MO, a daughter Lorenda Wise of Arlington, TX, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, his sister: Mary Christine (Dale) Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Private burial to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial contributions go to the family to help with funeral expenses.
