Ronald Clinton Walker

Ronald Clinton Walker, 80, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on July 24, 2023.

Ron was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 19, 1942 to Clinton and Buelah Walker. His parents relocated to Orrick, Missouri where he graduated from Orrick High School in 1960. After moving to the Kansas City area he continued his education attending William Jewell College for a brief time. Ron worked for GM in the paint department for 10 years, before starting his business Ron’s Exteriors, which he successfully ran for 40+ years. Ron married Cindy Starling-Monahan on March 4, 1999. Faith and family were the most important aspects of his life and he always made it a point to put other’s needs before his. He was a longtime member of Winnwood Baptist Church and in his spare time he could often be found playing a round of golf or at the lake fishing. 

Ron is preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Billie Monahan. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Walker; children, Rhonda and Randy; step-sons, Gary and Jarred Starling, grandchild, Clint Walker, siblings, Pam Simmons and Carter Walker; mother-in-law, Loretta Monahan; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jeff and Debbie Williams; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 1st, with visitation from 10-11am, funeral service at 11am, and private family burial following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Winnwood Baptist Church.
