Ronald Frederick Karn, 43, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2024. Born on March 20, 1981, Ron spent most of his life in the Kansas City area and graduated in 1999 from Northeast High School. He was District Manager for several years in the Sacramento, CA area, and most recently a devoted Store Manager for Sprint/T-Mobile, where he formed lasting friendships and made a positive impact with both colleagues and customers alike.
Ron had a true love for life. Whether it was collecting sports memorabilia, boating, fishing at Perry Lake, riding his four-wheeler, or his Polaris Slingshot, and he embraced each adventure that came his way. As an avid Kansas City sports fan, he was always cheering on his beloved Chiefs and Royals. He also loved competing in his annual Fantasy Football Leagues and was a champion trophy winner for several years. Beyond his hobbies, Ron was known for his big heart, infectious laughter, hugs, and being the life of every game night. He loved his family dearly and the friendships he forged were lifelong and cherished.
Those who knew Ron best, often said that he truly lived life to the fullest and had a heart of gold. His joyful spirit was magnetic, always lighting up the room and making those around him laugh. He was one of a kind—larger than life and always willing to help, whether it was giving the shirt off his back or simply being a shoulder to lean on. His presence was unforgettable, and he will be deeply missed.
Ron is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wayne Karn; Niece, Evelyn Kamphefner; and his beloved pup, Trip. He is survived by his loving mother, Norma (Brummitt) Karn; sisters, Debbie (Karn) Harris and Robin (Karn) Crislip; Brothers-In-Law, Darrel Harris and Walt Crislip; Nieces and Nephews, Ally Kamphefner, Gavin Kamphefner, Destinee Harris, and Benjamin Crislip; as well as Aunts, Cousins, and his cherished furry companions, Lady and Duke.
