Ronald Eugene Edmonds, 67, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, died suddenly in his sleep on, Sunday, September 10, 2017; he was born in Kansas City, MO to Shirley (Simmions) Edmonds and the Late Ashby F. Edmonds III. On December 2, 1949.
Ron was an avid fisherman, participating in many fishing tournaments, he enjoyed camping with his family, he would work in his garden with the purpose of feeding his family and sharing with others. He followed in his father’s footsteps with a love for woodworking. He proudly served our country during Vietnam in the United States Air Force, as an aircraft maintenance tech. he spent a 33-year career with a printing company. He and Linda were married for 40 years; they loved spending time together.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Bunyan) Edmonds, his children Pamela Taibi, Camie (Lon) Walsh, Pete (Beth) McGill and Crystal (Tom) Kidd; grandchildren T.J. Cecelia, Allianna, Danny, Derek, Tyler, Michael, Caroline, E.J. Katie, and Hailey; great-grandchildren Jaylen, Julianna, Antonio, Marianna, Myles, Kayla, Landon Lily and two on the way, Alonzo and one yet to be named. Brother Don (Linda) Edmonds, mother Shirley Edmonds, mother-in-law Joyce Hoerl, his beloved dog Daisy and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 1-2 PM. Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 2 PM; at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Terrace Park Cemetery.
