Reverend Ronald "Brent" Calvert, 49, of Kansas City, MO passed away June 18, 2011. A Homecoming Celebration will be 12:30 pm Wednesday June 22nd at First Pentecostal Church of Platte County, 14800 NW Tiffany Park Rd, with visitation preceding services 11:00 - 12:30 pm. Burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Brent Calvert Memorial Fund in care of Stacy Calvert.Reverend Calvert was a fun loving, big hearted and caring person. His ultimate love was his family, church family and the Apostolic message. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Calvert and mother in law, Carolyn Marlow. Survivors include his wife and best friend, Stacy Calvert, children, Cameron and Michaela Calvert, father, Reverend Ronald Calvert, maternal grandfather, Charles Brazear, sister, Cheryl Sissel, and husband, Reverend Craig Sissel, niece, Morgan Sissel, sister in laws, Stephanie Marlow, Lesli Shields, numerous friends and family.
