Ron Morse

RONALD LARRY MORSE, 76, of Kansas City, MO passed away November 15, 2013 at NorthCare Hospice. Visitation will be 1:00pm to 2:30pm, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home Cemetery Chapel. Memorial contribution may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Salvation Army, or organization of your choice.  NO FLOWERS PLEASE. Ronald was born August 27, 1937 in Mason City, Iowa. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served 4 ½ years mostly in Germany.  While in Germany he met his wife Rosemarie Kreutzer.  They were married on October 20, 1958 in Mason City, Iowa.  He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for 38 years in Kansas City.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He was a member of the American Legion who loved to travel and spent winters in Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents Olaf Erno and Vera Maybell Morse; daughter, Debra JoAnn Rowlett, and five brothers – Harry, Russell, Robert, Claude, and Richard.  The surviving members of his family include his wife, Rosemarie; children Denise, Ronda and Andrew; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother & wife (William and Cheryl Morse), and two sisters and husbands (Harriett & David McVicker, and Vivian and Robert Clausen).
