Rodney Norris

Rodney C. Norris, 56, of Platte City, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 7, 2019.  Rodney was born on December 30, 1962 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Irvin and Raetta (Calvert) Norris.

He was a graduate of Lafayette High School and worked  for the North Kansas High School District at Eastgate Middle School for 18 years.  Prior to that, he worked at Red Lobster in St. Joseph, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father, Irvin N. Norris.

He married Lori Cornell on June 22, 1992 in Kansas City, Missouri, she survives of the home.  Additional survivors include his children, Drew Norris and Caitlin (Brandon) Hill; his mother, Raetta; two brothers, Neal (Carol) Norris and Larry (Beth) Norris; and three grandsons, Aidan, Cale and Beckett Norris.

Funeral services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery at 11:00am on Saturday, January 12, 2019, with a visitation beginning at 9:30 am.
