Roberta Gail Smith, 84, recently of Cameron, MO, died peacefully, on Saturday, October 19, 2019.  She was born February 12, 1935, in Denver, CO to the late Lars and Ethel (Henson) Nerim.

Her home was the center of her world, she was a courageous homemaker and devoted wife of 67 years. She was the youngest of 10 children and loved to listen and dance to Elvis.

She is survived by her husband John N. Smith Sr.; Children John (Twyla) Smith, Dave (LeAnn) Smith and Diana (Robert) Jackson. Grandchildren Christy, Derek, Farrell, Mandy, Jereme, Sarah, Jordan, Kyle and Rachel; great-grandchildren Declan, Auburn, Owen, Easton, Ivy, Ian, Caleb and Scarlet. Sister Doris Miklich.

In addition to her parents, Roberta is preceded in death by 8 siblings and her great-grandson Cross X. Smith.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 10-11 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service  Wednesday at 11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gashland Evangelical Presbyterian Church 8029 N Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64118.  Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneralHome.com.
