Roberta Jeanne Rash Agee, 84, of Kansas City, MO, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015 while surrounded by her loving family and friends. Services will be 10:00 am Monday November 9th at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 N.W. 108th St. Kansas City, MO 64155. Visitation will be Sunday Nov. 8th from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Northern Heights Missionary Baptist Church.
Roberta was born January 30, 1931 in Tunis, MO to Preston and Marrilla Rash. She married Eric Agee in 1948 in Rogers, AR and shortly thereafter began their family. They moved to Kansas City in 1955 and continued to raise an ever-growing family.
Roberta was a member of the First Baptist Church of Northern Heights. She loved singing, laughing and helping others.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Roberta is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Eric G. Agee, sisters Joyce Pearson and Geraldine Phillipson. She is survived by her brother Keith Rash and also leaves four daughters, Jennifer Agee, Deana (Agee) Cover, Jeanne (Agee) McDowell and Pamala (Agee) Protenic. 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
