Robert D. Prucha, 80, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Monday October 26, 2015 at Liberty Hospital with family by his side.
Funeral Services will be 10 AM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th Street, KCMO 64155. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 PM Friday October 30, 2015 at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
Bob was born June 19, 1935 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after more than 30 years of service. Bob married Marianne O’Boyle on October 20, 1956. He loved to travel and spend time with his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Marianne after 56 years together. Those left to cherish his memory include his 4 children; Jane Gandy (John), Lisa Miller (Ron Duff), Jill Buckland (Buck) and Tom Prucha (Jill Stratton), 6 grandchildren; Sara Yutzy (Steve), Trey Buckland, Molly Prucha, Abby Buckland, Ben Prucha and Annie Prucha, 1 great-grandson; Lukas Yutzy, and 2 sisters; Betty Coffey and Sandi Rownd (John). Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
