Robert “Bob” Mason, 84, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away February 12, 2017. He was born in Clifton Hill, Missouri on November 9, 1932 to Willard and Opal (Shoemaker) Mason. Bob was preceded in death by an infant son, Andy Louis, his parents, son-in-law Ron Peterson, and 5
siblings. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Wilma, and his children Kathy Barnes (Alan), Greg Mason, Diane Peterson, and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Mason (Nelsie) and 2 sisters, Reba Bowden and Doris Metzger (Max). Bob grew up in Huntsville,
Mo., served in the Korean War (Fifth Combat Regiment), and was a custom homebuilder in the Northland for over 40 years. He was a founding member of the Platte Woods Lions Club. Visitation will be 10:00 Friday, February 17, at Terrace Park Funeral Home, followed by Funeral Service at 11:00. Burial is at 1:30 at the South Point Cemetery, in Orrick, Mo. The family suggests contributions to the VFW.
